About the Event
Womens rewilding gathering is an invitation for you to come and connect with other Women in the Wild! Spend some time rejuvenating in the rich rainforest bushland while learning ancestral living skills. A special invite goes to Mothers wanting to bring their daughters for a beautiful shared experience.
Be empowered to feel confident in the bush and explore new capabilities here at Wild Beings. You will experience a deeper connection with the land and develop relationships with the natural abundance all around you while getting in touch with your primal roots.
We also value creating safe spaces, for women to really feel held, supported and free to express and connect.
A space to slow down and connect, sharing special moments with others.
This Gathering is a 3-day campout in the wild embrace of lush rainforest held by 2 creeks meeting.
Over the weekend we will be exploring various nature connection practices and bushcraft skills.
What to expect

- Wild Foods and Medicines walk
- Bird Language

- Nature connection practises include barefoot walking, silence in nature, and sit spots.
- Fireside songs, meals and sharing
- Movement
The weekend will be a balance between the nurturing of skills and the deep connection to nature and ourselves.
As women, I think we can all agree that a special energy arises when we gather together, a relaxing of the nervous system as we indulge in the oxytocin around us and within us. So this is an opportunity to nurture yourself and gift yourself that time of nourishment that is so lacking in a woman's life in the modern world.
We have decided to open this gathering for mothers to bring their daughters. This will be a beautiful opportunity for you to have some quality time connecting with your older daughters and share this experience.
We are asking that if you choose to bring your daughters that they are ages 7 and above, this is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn equally as there are only 2 of us teaching. Babes in arms welcome.
If you are a solo woman wanting to join us then this is for you as well, these gatherings are not catered for any specific "type". All women, mothers or not are welcome to be a part of this weekend. At the last gathering we had many young women and older women and some daughters and it was a beautiful energy.
This is an off-grid camping gathering. There are no indoor kitchen facilities or electricty. We will have a camp kitchen set up with a gas stove for tea and coffee. We encourage you to bring an eski and your own little camp kitchen set up to make breakfast and lunch more easeful for you.
Vegetarian whole foods meals will be provided both nights, please bring your own snacks/breakfast/lunch. Contact us with any special allergies or dietaries. We encourage each participant to bring food that doesn't have to be refrigerated.
This is a camping gathering BYO Tent or Van, with plenty of flat space for setting up close by or nestled in the Gums.

All materials that have been foraged for this gathering have been done so in a respectful and conscious manner, never taking more than what is needed.
We acknowledge the Land that we gather on is traditional Guringai & Darkinyung land that has been Home for thousands of years to the Original People living in harmony with the ecosystem. We wish to honour & respect the knowledge of this land-based Culture.
