About the Event
Mens Rewilding Gathering
Come and learn various bushcraft & ancestral skills in a remote bush block amongst vast sandstone ridgelines & ironbark trees.
This program is for those who want to connect with the elements & get back to basics.
The weekend will consist of various skills workshops & an overnight cave sleep out.
Skills on offer:
- fire by friction methods: hand drill & bow drill
- craft your own bow drill kit
- wooden tool making & use of
- wild foods & medicines
- traditional fire cooking
- making wild jerky
- spear throwing workshop
- tracking & awareness techniques
Spaces are limited to keep the group small.
This is a 3-day camp-out gathering held on private property up in the Wollombi Region. 1.5 hours west from Central Coast & Newcastle.
The property is on a ridge top, surrounded by 360 views of bush & rolling valleys below, full of sandstone caves to explore + wildlife.
When: 15-17th November

Facilitators:
Will: Will has been delving into traditional living practises for the last 5 years with a passion for land-based living skills. He is a bow hunter, traditional tanner & bushcraft teacher. He has accumulated many bushcraft & ancestral skills over the years due to his passion to learn & teach these more connected ways of being.
Clay: Clay is a Gamilaroi man with a strong connection to his culture. His passion is his living, facilitating cultural camps & workshops to adults and families. Clay has spent most of his adult life staying in caves, learning Culture from Uncles in Western NSW and has a deep relationship with the land.
