Bush School Term 1//Four Weeks

We are back with a weekly bush school opportunity for home school families!

For those of you who are yet to meet us, we aim to create safe outdoor spaces for children to build a strong relationship with the natural world, and there is no better way to do that than through curiosity and play! Each session has a mixture of bush skills, games & nature awareness.

We love seeing young ones thrive in nature, many of the bush skills we teach build confidence, encourage team work and connection to nature.

The location is a lush private property surrounded by towering blue gums, rainforest trails & an abundance of wildlife!

Some of the skills include:

Friction fire methods

Natural String making

Foraging

Shelter Building

Plant ID

The world of birds

Tracking and more

Each week we delve into nature news, encouraging everyone to pay attention to what is happening in the bush around them and share it, each session has a theme but is always subject to change depending on the weather.

These are 4-week programs which run consecutively each term.

Program Dates:

Thursday 20th March

Thursday 27th March

Thursday 3rd March

Thursday 10th March

Beginning at 10am

Finishing at 3pm

Prices:

Per Child: $240 for 4 weeks

2 Siblings: $320 for 4 weeks

3 Siblings: $480 for 4 weeks

Ages 7 - 15 years

Location: Wild Feather Studio, Holgate NSW

Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. There is an area indoors for parents to do any kind of laptop work if needed.

Mentors have current WWCC and Wilderness FirstAid plus 5 years experience in nature based mentoring & facilitation.
